Slated to be officially unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in January, the all-new BMW 2 Series models have been an exciting topic of conversation for quite some time. And, as you'd expect, as the date of the annual event in the Motor City approaches the discussion surrounding the coupes is becoming increasingly hot.

We here at BMW of Des Moines know all too well that parenthood is a full-time job. Don't get us wrong; the payoff is more than worth it, but, who are we kidding? A helping hand never hurts when it comes to keeping an eye on our kids.

It's been a good three months now since we had some sales numbers to send your way here at BMW of Des Moines. The last time we checked in, our favorite automaker was breaking records left and right here in the States. And now that September has come and gone, it's time we shifted our focus to the global market.

We wouldn't say we're paranoid, and it's not like we don't trust our customers behind the wheel, but there are some really bad drivers out there. Then again, even if we didn't have to worry about the competency of other drivers, there's always the unexpected to account for; acts of god, if you will. Okay, maybe we're a little paranoid, but what can we say, we're just really big on safety here at BMW of Des Moines.

As our June sales numbers will show you, breaking records just comes with the territory for our favorite automaker here at BMW of Des Moines. As much as we'd like to take credit for these milestones, the credit is due to our new and used cars. Then again, not every record is a record worth celebrating, especially the ones that are highly illegal.

We don't see it happening anytime soon, but having a personal assistant sure wouldn't be half bad. Just imagine having someone on hand who would be more than happy to go shopping for you and pick out your wardrobe on the daily so that you wouldn't have to? Not half bad at all. Unfortunately, luxuries like these aren't exactly the easiest things to arrange around the homestead for us here at BMW of Des Moines. But when it comes to our new and used cars, that's exactly the kind of luxury our favorite automaker now…

There are few things in this world that no American can possibly resist. Bruce Springsteen, illegal fireworks on patriotic occasions and hot dogs, hot dogs, hot dogs. It's a fact of life and one we're proud to support here at BMW of Des Moines. But did you know that your fellow countrymen are also helpless to resist plug-in hybrid supercars? All the way back in May, we here at BMW of Des Moines were teasing you all with a glimpse of the eco-friendly future of our lineup. It was very exciting news for our new and used cars, news that's had our minds racing like gangbusters ever since. Well now that the BMW i3 has finally been unveiled, the future is within our grasp.
