We don't see it happening anytime soon, but having a personal assistant sure wouldn't be half bad. Just imagine having someone on hand who would be more than happy to go shopping for you and pick out your wardrobe on the daily so that you wouldn't have to? Not half bad at all. Unfortunately, luxuries like these aren't exactly the easiest things to arrange around the homestead for us here at BMW of Des Moines. But when it comes to our new and used cars, that's exactly the kind of luxury our favorite automaker now provides.

The new BMW Individual DesignworksUSA Consultation Program is a recently-announced service that pairs up our customers with a designer to create their dream car just the way they want it. The first of its kind, customers will be able to work one-on-one with the designers to weigh their options and receive advice on everything from adding optional features to what color schemes to go with.

In case you're wondering what prompted a service such as this, we'll let the consultants to the explaining.

"At DesignworksUSA, we have a deep understanding of colors and materials because we travel the world studying design trends for BMW Group vehicles as well as for our outside clients," says Sandy McGill at BMW DesignworksUSA. "Just as people have interior designers for their homes and tailors for their clothes, we are the personal designers for their vehicles. We help clients express their personal identity through their vehicle."1

So if you're in the market for a new vehicle and would like to meet with a designer today, feel free to pay us a visit at our dealership here in Urbandale, IA. After all, a second opinion never hurts.
