Last fall, the Paris Motor Show witnessed the debut of the BMW Concept X2. Now the vehicle has arrived in America, appearing at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month. The sporty, distinctive and tough Concept X2 evokes vibrant energy even while sitting still.
With its familiar front apron, large center air intake and signature kidney grille, there’s no doubt that the Concept X2 is a BMW. However, when you look closer, the elongated Hofmeister kink begins much farther forward than normal, drawing attention to the C-pillar and blue-and-white BMW nestled within.
The Concept X2 includes a variety of new design elements that include ultra-thin headlights that feature blue “X” accents and a sporty, assertive roofline that continues all the way to the back, unlike the slanting rooflines of other X models. Bearing an attractive medley of coupe-like silhouette and hardy X appearance, this forceful vehicle is engineered for your driving pleasure.
The X2 will launch in 2018.
