Driving on a race track, and a city street--as the BMW i3 was designed to do--are two very different experiences. But that doesn't mean tricks from one can't aid the other. That's why championship race car driver Erin Crocker, and EV owner Chris Neff took the city car out onto the track to demonstrate how they feed each other.
In the video we'll share with you today demonstrates some of these aspects. Crocker discusses how critical safety is in racing, and how balanced the i3 feels to drive. The video also showcases some of the useful safety features of the car, such as dynamic traction control, and how to stop short in heavy traffic.
