It's neither the 3 Series, nor is it wholly a 4 Series coupe. That's because it's BMW's premier 2015 4 Series Gran Coupe, a four-door, one-hatchback sporty, sedan-like creature. BMW has an uncanny knack for building what we didn't even know we wanted and making us love it.
A power-operated liftgate opens to reveal a generous amount of cargo space, and a folding rear seat accommodates for even more. The 428i option will carry over the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine from its 4 Series lineup mates. Spring for the 435i model and buy yourself a 300 horsepower, 3.0-liter six cylinder for even more power.
